In 2018, the number of visitors from the Philippines to Kyushu and the number of overnight stay were increasing by 32,296 (111.6% increase YoY) and 33,450 (119.2% increase YoY), respectively. The number of overnight stay is small compared to the number of visitors, but it increased from 0.97 person stay in 2017 to 1.04 in 2018.
However, we are not expect a significant increase in number of tourists in the short term because the awareness of Kyushu is still very low. So first of all, we will work with local travel agencies to increase the number of group tours by creating and promoting Kyushu tours to the market.
